The Grand Master is the guardian of the Fraternity's Landmarks, the Principles of Regularity, the legislation of N∴G∴L∴R∴, and the respect for Masonic tradition; he kindles the lights, presides over, and governs this sovereign Grand Lodge. The Grand Master represents the Grand Lodge before its members, Lodges within its jurisdiction, recognized Masonic organizations, Masonic authorities worldwide, as well as before secular authorities and civil society. The Grand Master holds a unique mandate for a duration of two years.
Born on July 26, 1981, in the city of Pitești, he is married, has 3 children, and speaks English, German, and French. He graduated from the Faculty of Law in 2004, and then from 2012 to 2014, he completed an Executive MBA at Wien University and the Strategies for a Global Company program at the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management. Since 2021, he is a certified Professional in Turnaround Management (CTP) and a member of EACTP (European Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals). He is also a member of the Executive Board of TMA Global (USA) – VP International Relations and Chairman - International Committee at Turnaround Management Association. He served as the President of the Turnaround Management Association - Romania Chapter (2019-2020) and is a Member of the European Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals (EACTP) – Director for Eastern Europe and a member of the EACTP Board. He is also a member of the Independent Directors Association.
Since 2015 to the present, he has been the CEO of Concilium Consulting, where he oversees the management of the strategic consulting company supported by a multidisciplinary team with expertise in business restructuring, corporate financing, M&A, and risk management. He is also a member of the Board of Directors in companies that are market leaders in various industries.
He was initiated in 2002 in Lodge Athenaeum No. 66, Orient of Bucharest, with the participation of Most Worshipful Brother Nicu Filip - the first Grand Master of N∴G∴L∴R∴. He became a Master Mason in 2003 and held various offices until 2006 when he was elected the first Worshipful Master of Lodge Colosseum No. 219, where he is still active today. He supported the twinning of Lodge Colosseum No. 219, Orient of Bucharest, with Lodge Histria No. 182 in the Orient of Athens - Greece. From 2007 to 2010, he served as Deputy Master of Ceremonies of N∴G∴L∴R∴, and from 2010 to 2014, he was Vice President of the Masonic Court of N∴G∴L∴R∴ - elected to this position by the Annual Meeting. He was initiated in the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite in Romania in 2003 and holds the 33rd Degree since December 2007.
He has supported the reform and reconstruction movement of NGLR since the beginning of the disturbances in 2020. From 2021 to 2023, he held the position of Deputy Grand Master of N∴G∴L∴R∴, elected by the legitimate Annual Meeting of N∴G∴L∴R∴.
During his term as Deputy Grand Master, he assisted Grand Master George Ivașcu in all the initiatives where his involvement was required, actively supporting the program and reform projects of N∴G∴L∴R∴. He initiated and coordinated efforts to establish the headquarters of the National Grand Lodge of Romania at Ghica Palace, Bucharest, as well as facilitating access to the Masonic Temples within this palace. He coordinated the organization of the event "Open Doors Day" addressed to the Brothers and civil society at Ghica Palace. He also initiated and coordinated the Special Situations Support Body (C3S) of N∴G∴L∴R∴, with the first project being the assistance of refugees from Ukraine.
Starting from April 22, 2023, he is the Grand Master of the National Grand Lodge of Romania, legitimately elected by the N∴G∴L∴R∴ Annual Meeting.
